Frigaard Gruppen consists of approx. 40 companies divided into 3 business areas. The group has grown from about NOK 40 million in revenues in 2004 to about NOK 2,2 billions in 2019.

- 1936 Sarpsborg Metall AS was established
- 2001 Frigaard Eiendom was established
- 2003 Trond Frigaard acquired 100% of the shares in Sarpsborg Metall
- 2004 SSG Norway was established - 2005 SSG Franchise was established
- 2005 Frigaard Gruppen was established as the holding company of the group
- 2005 Frigaard Gruppen acquired 100% of Lagertrans AB in Sweden, SSG Sweden was established
- 2005 SSG Denmark was established
- 2007 New central warehouse in Sarpsborg was completed
- 2008 Altistore - catalog company was established in Norway
- 2008 Altistore - catalog company was established in Sweden
- 2008 Altistore - catalog company was established in Denmark
- 2009 Frigaard Bemanning was established
- 2010 Festiviteten, conference and restaurant was established
- 2011 Sold Frigaard Bemanning to Aktriva AB in Sweden
